"Qcine" is an event born in 2012 to enhance the cultural union between cinema and gastronomy. It is divided into three nights of “cinema” in the square, located in the suggestive village of Campomarino di Maruggio near Taranto. During these nights, “Qcine” traditionally alternate film screenings, meetings with actors, authors and chefs, and public tastings of the "film dish". During the final night the “Piero Salerno” Prize is awarded to the most promising new director.
