Starting from July 2nd until July 5th, Otranto hosted the first edition of the Otranto Film Fund Festival.
A cultural event dedicated to the movie produced thanks to regional funds.
For this first edition, 4 movies from:
Denmark, "Himmerland"
Finland, "Forbidden Fruit"
United Kingdom, "Sleep Furiously"
Republic of Serbia, "The Hourglass"
From 7 pm, authors and books from these European regions were presented by Goffredo Fofi and Tiziana Triana at Torre Matta.
There were 2 screenings a day, starting from 9 pm at the Castello Aragonese.
After the screenings, a dj set by Simone Fabbroni has lightened up the nightlife.
Until July 31st, at Castello Aragonese, "Puglia, scenes from the set" a photo exhibition dedicated to the most significant pictures of our region and the movies shot here.
Special events were:
Radio Egnatia, directed by Davide Barletti and
Come Dio comanda, directed by Gabriele Salvatores.
To salute our guests, Antonio Castrignanò helded a concert on the final day of the festival.
