By way of its four Cineporti in Puglia (Bari, Lecce, Foggia and Taranto), Apulia Film Commission provides services and support to audiovisual productions while filming in Puglia; whether it be well-equipped offices, casting, make-up, hairstyling and costume rooms, storage, set design workshops, a cinema hall and a space for events—all absolutely free of charge. In addition, the four facilities have become in recent years strategic locations for the promotion of film culture within the region through initiatives and festivals of significant cultural importance, often while hosting filmmakers from all over the world. The Cineporto of Bari also houses the office of the Creative Europe Media Desk of Cinecittà Luce, devoted to Southern Italy.
