The Apulia Cineport hubs are the logistical headquarters of the Apulia Film Commission Foundation and centres to welcome and host production companies.
A business centre of 1200 square meters, located in the trade fair district of Bari, the Cineporto is equipped with office facilities, casting, makeup, hairdressing and costume rooms, storage and stage workshops, as well as a full HD movie theatre with 98 seats. The Cineporto was founded as an operational base to allocate the productive resources of crews shooting in Puglia. In just a few years, it has become an artistic and cultural venue hosting several exhibitions, cultural events, conventions and castings for cinema and television. The past guests include Abel Ferrara, Franco Maresco, Todd Solondz, Enrico Ghezzi, Ana Lily Amirpour, Jerzy Skolimowski, Zbig Rybczynski, Shin’ya Tsukamoto e Carlos Reygadas. In the Cineporto of Bari is located one of the three ”Creative Europe Desk Media Italia”.
